The ordination ceremony is a ceremony during which the church recognises several categories of servants. These are people who are genuinely committed to Impact Centre Chrétien, working in different mission fields around the world. Above and beyond their titles, the church wants to publicly appreciate and recognise the clear call of God in their lives.

This call was demonstrated in the lives of these men and women. They decided to do the most wonderful work on earth, the work given to us by the Lord Jesus Christ: "Go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Matthew 28:19-20.

There will be 4 categories of entrants recognised at the ceremony:

The missionary

A missionary is an active worker in the expansion of the Kingdom (Matthew 28:19), involved in the planting and development of local ICC churches.

For this category, it is not a question of ordination, but rather of public appreciation of the sacrifices made.

The recognised pastor or assistant pastor

A recognised pastor is called an assistant pastor, because he is required to assist a confirmed or associate pastor.

The recognised pastor or assistant pastor is a servant who is qualified for pastoral care, and who carries a significant load in the administration and life of the church. After having been observed over time and in different situations, an irreproachable testimony and the reality of a call from God for the pastoral function concerning him have been noted.

Only those in the last 2 categories, namely the evangelist and the recognised pastor, will be ordained (Ephesians 4:11-12).
